Boca Helping Hands is calling on the community to help provide Thanksgiving meals to approximately 24,000 people through its 2026 Thanksgiving Box Brigade.
How the Program Works
The initiative supplies families with a turkey and a box of food for a complete holiday meal. The turkeys and boxes go to current Pantry Bag Program clients the weekend before Thanksgiving at five drive-thru sites in east Boca Raton, West Boca, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth. Groups that want to do more can pick up five or more boxes from the nonprofit, fill them with Thanksgiving foods and bring them back by Monday, Nov. 16.
How to Help
The organization is seeking monetary donations and groups willing to assemble food boxes. A donation of $29.72 covers the cost of one box. Details are available on the Boca Helping Hands Thanksgiving webpage.
