According to The Boca Raton Tribune, the Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District approved its 2026-27 budget and a 1.0331-mill rollback rate in a 4-1 vote at its final public TRIM hearing.

The district serves about 125,000 residents in southeastern Palm Beach County, including all of Boca Raton. The rate applies per $1,000 of assessed property value in ad valorem taxes. The district uses that revenue for projects in the seven parks it owns, including North Park in Boca Teeca, while city staff operate the district’s parks and facilities.

The source reported that Commissioner Craig Ehrnst had proposed a lower millage rate and voted no at both the Sept. 8 TRIM hearing and the final hearing.
