A crash just west of Calliandra Drive in Boynton Beach at 1:04 a.m. left two people dead and two critically injured. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is investigating.
Investigators say Rose Lott, 28, was driving a Dodge Charger westbound when she lost control and crossed into the eastbound lanes. The Charger collided with a BMW X3 driven by Ronald Lowe, 53.
Lott and Charger passenger Ryan Moody, 32, died. Charger passenger Shaquila Reed, 25, and Lowe were critically injured. The Sheriff’s Office said none of the Charger’s occupants was using safety equipment; Lowe was wearing a seatbelt.
