Lake Worth Beach has lowered the fine for bulk trash and vegetation pickup violations from $335 to $135. The reduced fine is now in effect.

More than 1,200 violations were issued after enforcement began Aug. 9. The city plans to reimburse eligible residents $200 for each violation issued under the former fine. Reimbursements are expected on residents’ next bills.
