A dog named Hunter is being cared for at Blessed Paws Rescue in Boynton Beach after being rescued from alleged abuse. The dog’s former owner was arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty, according to Boynton Beach police.
What Happened
Boynton Beach police said surveillance video captured the owner abusing the dog across two separate incidents. The dog, previously known as Rex, was removed from the owner’s custody and placed with Blessed Paws Rescue.
Adoption Preparations
Hunter, estimated to be about 4 years old, is currently receiving medical care and training ahead of adoption. Blessed Paws Rescue is accepting adoption applications.
