Jupiter Job Fair Drew Seekers Beyond Displaced Amazon Workers

According to WPTV, CareerSource Palm Beach County hosted a job fair in Jupiter on Wednesday.

The station reported the event was originally set up for displaced Amazon workers from a St. Lucie County warehouse that is being converted to a fulfillment center. WPTV also reported that many of the job seekers there during the first hour were not former Amazon workers.

WPTV reported unemployment was running around 4.8% in Palm Beach County and 5.3% on the Treasure Coast.
